There are currently over 50 miles of surfaced and un-surfaced rides throughout the local Forest and, during the summer months, most of the northern area of Epping Forest is open for free-range riding!

Epping Forest is an area of ancient woodland in south-east England, straddling the border between north-east Greater London and Essex. It is a former royal forest, and is managed by the City of London Corporation. The forest lies on a ridge between the valleys of the rivers Lea and Roding. Epping Forest covers over 6000 splendid, verdant acres and is a deciduous forest with Oak, Beech, Birch and Hornbeam trees predominant.

  • Every Wednesday: 2.15pm – 3.15pm, £35
  • Every Thursday: 10am – 11am, £35

All riders must be confident in walk, trot and canter. New riders will be assessed by a qualified instructor to ensure they are competent to hack out.
